This came in a small zip pouch and I was worried that it would be full of creases. It surprisingly did not have any issues and was ready to wear. I opted to wear as a sash for a themed events ceremony, but it would work well as a shawl as well. The color, in my opinion, is a scarlet red for reference. It does not have any washing instructions, but a gentle cold wash and air dry worked just fine. 4 Stars only because there's nothing really special about it, but I would recommend.It fit great, but was the wrong shade of purpleThe item arrived very promptly.
